Style and Substance

Fashion-forward and fiercely local, Upper King from Calhoun to Mary is also a shopping destination in its own right. The boutiques here carry everything from artisan leather goods and sustainable fashion to handmade jewelry and cutting-edge home decor. It’s the ideal stretch for discovering a piece of Charleston that no one else has.

Where Locals and Visitors Converge

Unlike the more tourist-heavy parts of the city, this part of King Street is where you’ll find Charleston at its most authentic and energetic. College students, young professionals, artists, entrepreneurs, and longtime residents all rub shoulders in a space that feels distinctly Charleston Now.
